The event will start at the construction site of Yarder Manufacturing's new Legacy Business Park. Matt will discuss the impact this site will have on the region and our community, the future plans for development, his journey within EPIC and his career within his family business. After the tour of the site, attendees will join Matt at Barr's Public House for networking and happy hour.

About Matt Yarder - Matt is a graduate of the Richard T Farmer School of Business at Miami University. As the Executive Vice President of the Yarder Manufacturing Company he is responsible for the strategic development and growth of his 5 generation family business. Since he has joined the family business in 2000 Matt has led his company to be the premier choice for sheet metal components for OEMs across the globe. He is dedicated to the company’s purpose of creating job growth and opportunities for hard working individuals and their families. As a founding member of EPIC TOLEDO, Matt understands the importance of career development and establishing a network for our young professionals in the Toledo area. He credits his early career success with the opportunities EPIC provided him through events like the EPIC Leadership Summit, Board Member Accelerator Program, and leadership responsibilities as the Advisory Council Chair in 2016. Since then, Matt has pursued a career of service leadership in our community by serving on the Toledo Chamber of Commerce Board since 2016, MetroParks Toledo Foundation Board since 2019, The Center to Advance Manufacturing Business Advosry Board (2024) among many others. He and his wife Katie Yarder are high school sweethearts and proud to raise their 2 children, Amelia (13) and Pierson (11), in our community.
